Intelligent Breakthrough to New Heights in Warehousing | Lyric’s Two CTU Bin Robots Reshape Logistics Efficiency

Intelligent manufacturing is accelerating its deep advancement across the entire industrial chain. As the hub connecting production, warehousing, and distribution, intralogistics has become a key indicator of a manufacturing enterprise's core competitiveness in terms of intelligence and flexibility. Faced with industry challenges such as rising land costs, mounting pressure on labor supply, and accelerating production cycles, high-density three-dimensional storage and bin-level intelligent transfer have become core pathways to breaking through logistics efficiency bottlenecks. Lyric has launched two CTU bin robots, which provide a practical choice for intralogistics upgrades across multiple industries through clear product positioning, robust performance, and system-level solutions.

As core product category of Lyric’s mobile robots, the two CTU models feature five key advantages: high lifting height, heavy load capacity, high precision, wide adaptability and long battery life. They address pain points in high-density warehousing and heavy-duty material handling.

The core difference between the two models lies in their mast structure. The single-mast two-stage telescopic version can retract to a low profile to pass through factory doorways of 3–4 meters, suitable for height-limited passages in older factories. Its maximum working height reaches 7–8 meters after lifting, balancing passage accessibility and high-level storage & retrieval. The fixed-height double-mast version delivers superior stability with a working height up to the 10-meter class, ideal for newly built high-rise automated warehouses. These two models form a gradient complementary portfolio, enabling flexible selection based on factory conditions and rack heights.

All-Round Performance Benchmark Covering Diverse Operational Needs

The two CTU models offer pickup heights ranging from 380 to 10,000 mm, accommodating both low-level buffering alongside production lines and high-level stereoscopic rack storage. This fully taps vertical space and improves the insufficient utilization rates of traditional flat warehouses. Load gradient configuration: maximum load per bin is 50 kg, and the maximum rated load of the entire unit is up to 400 kg. Small and medium-sized models are equipped with 4–5 bin baskets, suitable for high-frequency transfer of small items in 3C electronics and automotive parts; large heavy-duty models carry 8 sets of bin baskets, meeting the large-volume turnover needs of new energy and finished-product warehousing.

Built on accumulated experience in industrial equipment R&D, the full product lineup adopts QR code navigation and two-wheel differential drive, achieving positioning accuracy of ±5 mm. It maintains millimeter-level precision even at high travel speeds, suitable for demanding scenarios such as precision manufacturing. The maximum travel speed is 1.5 m/s, with stable operation under full load to meet the logistics requirements of high-tempo production lines. Equipped with LFP batteries, it delivers over 8 hours of runtime under rated working conditions. Fast charging enables multi-shift continuous operation and 24-hour unmanned running. Multiple safety protections are integrated, including full-range obstacle avoidance radar, pressure-sensitive bumpers and multi-point emergency stops, to ensure human-machine collaboration safety in complex industrial environments.

System-Level Collaborative Ecosystem Unleashing Warehousing Value and Efficiency

Lyric abandons the isolated single-machine application approach and deeply integrates CTUs into its intelligent logistics equipment matrix, creating system value through a collaborative model of "equipment + system + scenario." In warehousing scenarios of 10 meters and below, CTUs can either independently interface with racks to store and retrieve bins, building a flexible bin-level storage system, or work in coordination with stacker cranes and shuttle vehicles to create a composite warehousing architecture of "three-dimensional storage + planar flexibility"—stacker cranes handle high-level storage and retrieval, while CTUs complete horizontal transfer, forming a picking closed loop where "people stay still while goods move."

In terms of operational accuracy, the ±5 mm positioning precision ensures precise docking between totes and storage locations, preventing abnormal downtime caused by misalignment such as tote jams and tote drops. When working in tandem with stackers and shuttles, outbound efficiency increases by over 40%, with inventory accuracy reaching 99.9%.The equipment can interface with MES systems and conveyor lines to connect the warehousing-production data chain, synchronizing material delivery with production tact time. It can also collaborate with automated forklifts and depalletizing/palletizing robots to build fully unmanned dark factories covering the entire process from inbound to outbound.

Targeting the warehousing pain points of manufacturing enterprises, the two CTU models offer a cost-effective implementation path: enterprises facing land constraints can activate vertical space through high-level storage and expand capacity without construction; enterprises burdened by high labor costs can rely on unmanned handling to reduce manual input and lower management risks; and old warehouse renovation projects are compatible with mainstream bins on the market, eliminating the need for large-scale replacement of existing assets and thereby compressing renovation costs and implementation cycles. The solutions serve sectors including lithium batteries, automotive, electronics, pharmaceuticals, e-commerce, supermarkets, and finance, meeting diverse needs such as production line upgrades, integrator project delivery, and intelligent transformation of traditional industrial parks.

As intelligent manufacturing continues to evolve, higher standards are being required for the efficiency, flexibility and cost control of in-plant logistics. Lyric’s two CTU models set a practical benchmark in bin handling with robust technologies and implementable solutions. Lyric will keep refining its warehousing and logistics technologies. Leveraging nationwide local service networks and full-lifecycle services, the company iterates and optimizes products and solutions to help manufacturers achieve digital transformation of logistics and empower high-quality development of domestic intelligent manufacturing.
